In December 2023, after a year-long effort to gather requirements from the University community and a rigorous RFP process, it was announced that Canvas would replace Blackboard Learn as the University’s enterprise learning management system. After a pilot in summer 2024, instructors could choose Blackboard or Canvas in fall 2024 and spring 2025. Starting summer 2025, courses that use the learning management system must use Canvas. Access to Blackboard ended on July 15, 2025. A Blackboard Archive is available.
